Request: A little crew count number in the hud

It would be really useful to track the crew count somewhere other than the stats screen. The ideal place would be at the top of the UI so players could immediately notice if, for example, a prisoner suddenly joined the crew.

Another option would be to add collapsible sections on the ship crew screen (View Crew when clicking on your ship), showing the total number of crew members, prisoners, and robots currently on board.

Otherwise, really awesome work, the game is amazing!

but there is, it's the very first icon on the upper left status panel, that's always visible except when you have the combat panel open. just to the right of your mini-map of your ship; crew, happiness, credits, power, oxygen, food, tools. hover on each to see your current trends, without having to pull up the histogram logs to estimate consumption rates and such.

hover on the "man" icon, a pop-up will show you your count of crew on-board currently, your refugees, prisoners, slaves, and if you have enough hyperspace chambers for the amount on-board.
