Space Haven

Space Haven

some suggestions for improvement
Now, after 690 hours of play, I do have a few suggestions for improvement:
- Give us a traveling merchant who randomly roams the hyperspace lanes and buys up all the excess stuff.
My ship has been flying for nearly 500 days now, and the mass of everything I’ve jettisoned into space could probably form a new planet.
- Better equipment—even if it has to be found. I’d love to take over a small wreck and find, say, a hundred bots inside... (I usually blast those things to scrap with my ship).
- Let us find containers with Core Points and System Points. That would make searching more rewarding and open up lots of cool possibilities—all for the sake of the save file.
- Special research options; I have over 100 Prestige Points now... but what for? I don't need anything else. This would provide long-term motivation.
For example, special guns or shields.
- Yes, different shields. What’s the point of the current shield? Four shots and it’s gone.
My ship has 7,356 hull points, and that’s the only reason I survive. It could be done differently.

Okay, after 500 hours of play, I’m basically a god in the system—but it doesn't have to be that way if pirate fleets of 3 or 4 ships suddenly show up. Still, surely there should be a destroyer in there somewhere for me to take out.

Oh, and one more thing: something feels off about the firearms. Why does the SMG in the hands of pirates feel ten times better than mine?
Anyway, thanks for the game; I’m really enjoying it.

Best regards, Frank (aka Paps)
