Space Haven

Destroying enemy ship for mission in other sector than stated softlocks its completion.
Got the mission to destroy specific slave ship in a cluster with 3 different stars: first upon arrival, had a battle with another slave faction ship. While clearing mess another 3 slave ships arrived one by one. One out of those three was the ship for a mission.

Basically, now one of the stages (to destroy the ship) states as completed, but the first stage (to meet this ship in specific sector) cannot be done (I was in that sector after the battle - nothing happens there).

So to be clear:
- You arrive at a cluster that has 3 systems. (those are not many so nice place.) You arrive in Sys A and there is B and C
- You get a mission to destroy Slave Ship X in System B.
- You engage with slavers in Sys A and Ship X jumps to Sys A so you destroy it there as well.

Correct?

If so this is not really a bug. You need to destroy it THERE. Some ships in multiple system clusters, like yours have a wider as to say patrol route than you can encounter.
Slave Ship X is usually present in System B. However every now and then it visits System A.

Even worse it can even happen that it has a patrol as to say range of System A entry point + the planets that are reachable from there. In which case it will visit those planets and then go back to System B. Or it just goes back to System B from their entry point.
This can be a bit tricky and annoying if you first encounter this behaviour as it differs from what you are used to.

This reminds me of those quests with specific location to kill from Tarkov, lol. Not really good design by default.

But anyways, after submitting this report, it turned out to be my fault. I was flying back and forth trying to find something I couldn't see for an hour and then, once again, after writting the report, decided to check the quest. Turned out I needed to meet a friendly ship there (those names are hard) to accept it into my fleet and then go kill the enemy (which is already dead).

So I went to the needed sector again and sat there for like 10 minutes on x3 (!) before the friendly one arrived.

Never played Tarkov so no experience:)

The friendly ship is probably in another system.

What can happen that you jump into Sector A. Get the mission destroy Slaver X in Sector B, but before/after meet Ship Friendly at Sector C.

Or even funnier. You get mission from ship friendly in Sector A. Get the mission destroy Slaver X in Sector B, and then you go back to Sector A and Ship Friendly is gone, because actually it is originally a ship in Sector C, just it has expanded travel range, and occasionally visits Sector A:)

Anyways if it is resolved all good then. Enjoy the game.
(Also providing screenshots in such cases about the mission can help:P)
