Crash at loading autosave and now all saves are insta crashing.

After latest (0.20.0) big update started a new game as suggested. Now few days later there was mini update or fix or what ever and I continued this save file as there was not anything that would indicate that a new game would be needed. Hours in this game attempted to load autosave for this play through and got crash notice.

Autosave was created after this fix and after that manual load that I continued.

Restarting the game and trying to load any of that play through saves get same crash notice and game quits.

Saves before this mini update says "Cannot load, game version mismatch" and after created are crashing. So that play through is unplayable now...

Crash notice says the data has been sent to Bugbyte, so hope there is something to lead on.

Update. Tested a bit and found a older save file that reloaded and is playable. Wish me luck.

Edit: Same problem. Three different save files and same results. If I load later save file it works. Probably future saves will have the same issue. Some fix update apparently was made earlier today. Would not help those save files witch have issues tho...

So are you still on that one same playthrough or two separate playthroughs now having same problem? From a fresh start.

The updates lately do not require a restart so something else is going on.

I also can´t load my game. I started it yesterday after installing the latest update and everything played smooth. When i wanted to load the file it crashes the compete game. Also older autosavefiles of that playthrough didn´t work.
Edit. Othersaves work so it seems only that playthrough is not loading

Hmm, OK! Are you using any mods?

If not. Can you zip up the saved game folder and send it to: [e-mail]

sorry. I deleted the files when it didn´t worked. I just played 1 or 2 hours so it hasn´t hurt.
I play without any mods.

Same playthrough. This is started after the big update. In this play the older load file worked and I saved regulary manually and later when i tested the loads, the same thing again happened. The latest save files do not work. There is also weird thing that in save files "Cannot load, game version mismatch" text is in many save files. Even when this it the same game that I started after the big update.

Just tested a gain and my fourth newest save file loaded correctly. And all I have is Vanilla game and no mods ever installed.

I have to test if i save like 5 times in a row and then test the files is there some affiliation in the latest save corrupting.

Hello! Ok. Can you create a new thread here in the forums and I can help there. It gets a bit messy otherwise as this is not exactly the same behavior on why it is crashing.

Have you tried verifying files? Sounds more like your game got corrupted and having trouble creating stable saves.
