Blank UI

The start menu is fine. I load up the game then there is a blank screen when zoomed in when I zoom out I can see the pixelated sector and that is all. Restart the game under different saves and still the same issue.

You mean the UI is missing? One thing I can think of:

There is a "hide UI" keybind in the game options keybindings section. Check that out and which key it is bound to. Then try using that to display the UI again.
