Make Autopsy Tables useful
the Autopsy Table is useless, the penalty's for Monster Meat and Human Meat out weighs the benefits also Bodies are worth more in the Composer than trying to turn them in to food. so the table isn't worth researching, perhaps make it also a Research Station, do your dissections on the table and get some Research points in addition checking off the dissection requirement.

ATM I don't waste my time researching it since it's more trouble than it's worth

A resource machine that only has debilitating downsides should not cost research, period.

well it dose produce "Food" but the side effects of that food are worse than going without.

yeah this thing is a pretty bad deal, even composting the monster meat/human meat gives half the carbon/chemicals and it only gives 1 medical skill xp per butcher.

Well one human corpse gives 3 meat, which sells for ~35 ¢ each ~ 105 total (provided the counterparty has no human meat in store), but it produces 1.5 water when composted (which can be bought for ~50-60 per unit, so 75..90 ¢ total), plus some chemicals and carbon... so a wash either way in terms of money, it seems. Credits are more fungible though.

early game you need the water mid and late game you need the Chems and Carbon, plus the Contraband penalties from having human meat on hand is not worth it.

It is useless, and it's not the only one. There are a lot of more expensive researches just as bad. They could double the body parts of the autopsy table and it might still not be worth it.
Economy needs a balance pass.

Or you can micromanage for a couple of seconds and get many Processed Meals from the Algae Dispenser to sell for more credits :P
With 2 Water and 1 Bio Matter you make 20 Processed Meals. No Research. Day 1.
