Have you tried putting the game in windowed mode and dragging the window to the primary screen, and then trying to switch settings to fullscreen? Will it go fullscreen in the correct monitor now?
When I get it to go into full screen on the correct monitor, the video settings will work as intended without needing a restart.
While this is a valid workaround, it's not an ideal solution. As I have to do that every single time I want to launch the game.
Is it launching or switching to windowed mode, and then dragging to the correct monitor, and then going full screen?
Or does it actually launch into windowed mode on the secondary screen, and when you switch to full screen it automatically jumps to primary screen without you dragging the window to the primary screen?
I want to display the game on my primary monitor but it always jumps to the secondary monitor when borderless mode is selected.
I tried your suggestion and dragged the window to the primary monitor, then switched to borderless mode, but the game then jumps back to the secondary monitor.
Workaround: Switch off the secondary monitor, then start the game. Switch the monitor back on. Of course this is not a viable solution to the problem.
Then next time I start the game it is back to the secondary monitor, so I always have to switch it off before starting the game.
Also when I deselect borderless mode, the game does not change to windowed mode but stays in fullscreen. Only when I then restart, the game starts windowed.
