Light is of minimal impact with the sleep comfort so let's look into why mental breaks are happening.
Can you post a screenshot of the bedroom with the "sleep comfort" opened specifically? When opening the comfort view mode there are three subcategories, so be sure to check the sleep is selected from the right hand side panel (When comfort view is open)
Do you have any medical beds? Wondering if some of the crew are sleeping in them at the moment, and if there are bad sleep comfort it will impact the situation.
Also if you can post screenshot of a crew member with negative conditions and mental breakdown risk I can check it out and see how it is fixed. =)
