Small bug with sound.

It's not a heavy impact on gameplay, but the sound seems to keep going silent, Along with the music. So it becomes totally silent like It's mute, except I've not got anything muted at all. I've checked for both my system and the game sound.

I am having a similar issue. I've played the game twice and both times there has been no music and very minimal sound effects during game play. I checked the game sound settings, but no change.

No music as in none at all? How is it in the main menu, and when you start a new game? Is it playing music then?

Many sounds are missing but more are coming! =)

No music at all. Even on the main menu or when starting a new game. I can hear the other sounds when I zoom in.

It works again restarting, but it's random when it will just cut out apparently. I have no idea what would trigger it. or if it was just me somehow. But It did do that.

Music switches to ambient and back again by default.

You can tweak that in the options, and make it play constant.

But seems GardenControl might have another problem. @GardenControl do you have the volume set up high enough in the options of the game? If you hear sounds then it would be quite strange no music is playing :)

I have tried changing the options, including changing the music to constant, but no change.

I tried again last night and put the in-game volume to maximum for the music and the sound effects. I can hear the sound effects if I'm zoomed (2), but still no music.
I have also tried to restart the game and steam, but no change.
I thought that it could be my sound settings, but I have sound/music for all other steam games.

I suppose I could play the sound files separately from the game.

I got the same issue.
Hear sound from clicking menu buttons and also sounds from inside the game.
But have no music and tried changing the music interval and also put music to 1.

Can you guys give your Motherboard and soundcard if you have one separate from the one in the Motherboard?

Everything is working well otherwise regarding playing music in Windows (YouTube) for example, correct?

The music works when the headset is directly into the motherboard.

I use an audio amplifier with usb (GSX 1200 pro
Sennheiser) and everything else work with it music, youtube and other games.
Also tried changing the audio amplifier from 7.1 to 2.0 but no music just sounds from the game.
