Does hyperdrive comsume fuel each time ship get into hyperspace
Does hyperdrive comsume fuel each time ship get into hyperspace and waste the rest of fuel once ship drops out, or it burn by range ship travel equally, and get in/out of hyperspace does not cost fuel?

Once to jump into hyperspace and once for each node jumped to.

Dunno if the jump costs fuel, but hyperdrives have 2 fuel storage buffers. One of them is visible, and it shows fuel. The other is invisible, and it determines the maximum jump distance.

A fresh new engine will fill up its invisible fuel storage the first time it starts charging for a jump.

Actually when you jump both are visible.
(Beside a symbol a certain number starts to increase, as you charge the hyperdrive, that will be your maximum jump distance. Based on power and mass. You increase the mass of your ship this range will decrease. Not sure if you can offset this by increasing the generated poweer though. Have not tested this yet.)

And you can check the "fuel consumption" per node.
You charge up the hyperdrive, and if you move a node it will consume a certain amount of fuel.
Around 1700 mass with 2 x1 drives that is around 0.08 fuel used per node.
So if you travel toward the sixth node, since you only pass through 5 nodes(the last one being your destination) you will use up 0.4 fuel.
