I know the amount is small, but if the object in two or three line of research tree it will give a little help for start research. And it will decrease time of that research.
For example is X1 Hyperdrive, in 1 star i can find like 5 or 6 derelict ship and in the we start with 2 start so like 10 or 11 ship can be found. It will be help because i'm hurry research X1 Hyperdrive.
So are 1 research skill still give 1 research point ?
Or i must have like 4 or 5 skill for can get Research point when salvaging?
And not have skill points of research mean 0% to get Research point from salvaging in derelict place ?
its more than marginal, for a steady research i use 2 research stations, and on top you need luck to get the resources for the research bench.
