But i should build a uss enterprise ship ;-)
The expanse is an awesome show, and if you are not watching it you are simply wrong. But you cant really replicate the ships in the show in this game other then just general shapes. Mainly because there are no plans for z levels in this game and expanse ships are built like skyscrapers.
Don't get me wrong, id personally love a game that allowed features like that. I just feel its well beyond the scope of the game, especially considering the size of the team. Plus Z levels make it really hard to see what is happening to your entire ship all at once. So while they add flexibility, it comes at the cost of personality. At least in my opinion.
The one thing I feel this game really misses out on is gravity. Sure, we could hand wave that everyone on the ship are all wearing mag boots. But no one gets slammed into the aft bulkheads when your ship accelerates out of a system. Maybe implement a gravity generator, or some kind of inertial damper, or keep it more grounded and add in acceleration seats that everyone has to be strapped into before jumping. If nothing else, if the game cant at least acknowledge gravity, at least let us work without it by being able to mount equipment everywhere, floors, walls, ceilings, everywhere.
I know its, wishful thinking, and well beyond the scope of the game. But I can dream.

But really, if you had directional weapons for example you'd want your bridge or anything critically important to the operation or survival of your ship to be as shielded as possible from incoming fire. That mean placing it behind several room worth of metal from anything you might hit or ram really.
Star Trek ships are ridiculed for instance for the fact that their bridges are always on top of the ship (deck one). At least you have very functional shields in Star Trek but it mean that an unprotected vessel with an enemy with half a brain would simply directly target the bridge and there goes the cast of your 10 years journey! Not realistic for that part really.

After that, go to your space haven in your steam library, select the screenshot and "share" it.
With that, you're uploading it onto steam.
Now again, select the image and you can find a link which looks like (steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=##########).
Just copy that link into a message and it will display automatically in a here.
