Game asks me where i want to put them, only allows me to select inside the ship

i transferred them to a claimable derelict that is stripped for parts.

Couldnt find them, transfered them to my other ship, bodies spawned on the floor in the next ship next to the airlock and then just ejected them to vacuum. All bodies of pirates so there was no sadness involved apart from the fact of wasted human potential/life.

you can also select your own ships and use "move corpses" in tactical view and drag to locate corpses in an area. allows you to move them elsewhere for more easy selection for ejection with "eject item" and is good for locating the one crew member that somehow died in the most obscure location possible.

As mentioned above, I double click on my ship and along the bottom of the screen select "eject item". I have to use my mouse to select the dead bodies (sometimes more than one) and simply click accept. Shortly after I'll see one of the crew members run by and pick up the corpse and toss it out the airlock. It's actually pretty cool seeing the body drift off into space from the airlock.

After watching the show of an android ship starting a fight with a miners guild, I got an SOS call from the remaining crew.
they wanted to be refugees, however me still not having figured how to deal with guests, they were to stupid to sleep in beds or eat so ended up dying from starvation (one of the worst deaths imaginable btw perhaps unless you are an android perhaps).
so now my crew keep stumbling on these powered out androids lying on the floor, one particular of the crew feeling extra lonely started posing them.
Then I build a butchers table, that way at least the bodies would be gone.. but no you can't chop up androids cause they aren't made of meat...
I then read this log here which was really helpful, started scooping out those androids and watching them float away.

You need to set up an area for the refugees and they need their own beds, kitchen/algae farm and toilet. Same with prisoners.
