About Cheat / Trainer

I played normally and had fun but now I want to build a ship with infinite resources to just for fun however I want. Is there cheat engine search option for the resources or is there a trainer, cheat etc?

The game is coded in Java from what I've been told. Each time the game is executed, new set of addresses and variables gets loaded into the game. Because of the nature of how the game was made, you won't be able to make a saved profile of memory addresses. You can cheat, however, it will only work for that specific launch of your game. You'll have to basically search the addresses again when you come back to the game.

The problem is how to find the value of a specific resource with cheat engine and change it.

Play with Sandbox mode enabled, lets you spawn resources. You can even edit the scenario files to let you start with 20 crews.

How would one go about editing said scenario files? I assume their embedded in the JAR file itself inside the game folder because they're not lose files that can simply be edited on their own.

you can search by CheatEngine for every resource in one store (4 bytes), money easy to find because they not store anywhere (4 bytes). 2 days i build ship with that. 1 day i spend for reach center of galaxy and i find... total pointless of game. Fractions are identical, lore change nothing...

Go into the game make some change and save a custom scenario.
Goto ...\Steam\steamapps\common\SpaceHaven\scenarios
Open your custom scenario
Change maxCrew="10" to maxCrew="20"
Save
Start New game
Select your custom scenario and you should be able to increase your crew to 20.

looks good, but what's the max limit the game can handle in relation to crew numbers? I know going over 12 is overboard, but you know, nothing wrong in having a big ol' group.

Don't know. i haven't tried going over 20.

Espilonarge, spylord. This changes in the difficulty settings when starting a new game. No need to search the files, just be careful. There is a choice of the number of crew, starting resources, the number of asteroids, etc.
The skills and attributes of the crew can then be edited to save.
