The Joshua and Margaret events are "fillers", in between the holiday/seasonal events. The next one will probably be a month or two after the Fireworks event (and then that will be followed by the Halloween event).
Thank you for the info, I really appreciate it!
Yeah. Unlucky with choices, even on the re-roll
Got the Monkey Farmer lol
Honestly, if you've got any characters or items that produce drops, like COBRA (cash and lives) or the Thought Control Wand (TCW), Monkey Farmer is immensely helpful. When I finally got him from a legendary orb and saw how helpful he was, I kind of regretted not buying him (for actual money) earlier. I've never spent any money on this game, but he probably would have been worth it.
Of course at that point I'd had the TCW for a while, and maybe COBRA too. If you don't have drops to collect, then Monkey Farmer isn't that useful, yet, but if you keep playing, he will be eventually.
I've actually got 2 Monkey Farmers now (both from legendary orbs), which may seem pointless, but it's actually helpful on maps with hazards that can disable a character. One of them is always able to collect things.
FYI, when playing a Martian Game that doesn't allow allies, you can still use Monkey Farmer. However, when a daily quest says "no allies", the game won't count if you use Monkey Farmer. The inconsistency is kind of annoying.
Fun fact:
You can't shard legendary or Martian items. So, for example, if you get a second Monkey Farmer and don't want him, you're stuck with him. So if you open a legendary orb and can choose a legendary that you already have enough of or just don't want, or an epic (even if you don't want it), you might want to choose the epic, because at least you can turn that into shards.
Thank you for these. I already know about not being able to shard Legendary or Martian items. But the rest are good info to me, thank you!
I actually just realized relatively recently that you can't shard legendary or Martian items (after playing for almost 3 years
I don't know why you can't. I imagine that, in one way or another, it comes down to them being too valuable.
My first offers from the legendary orb were all level-up materials, which are completely worthless to me, since all my characters are max level (and I have all of the characters). You can't even exchange excess level-up materials for anything.
The second offers were The Lover (legendary music weapon), Lady Rainicorn (legendary ally), and level-up material. The Lover can only be used by Marcy, Jake and TJ, and I already had one and am not using it. Lady Rainicorn can be used by 7 characters. I already had 4 of her, so I probably didn't really need more, but she seemed more likely to be useful than a second The Lover, so I took Lady Rainicorn.
I guess I've got at least one of everything you can get from the legendary orbs (there are a couple of allies I'm not sure about), so the best I can do there is to get a duplicate that I can use. As noted earlier, legendary items can't be sharded, so anything else is completely worthless to me.
The main thing left for me to acquire is the rest of the "Martian" items. The completionist in me wants to "catch 'em all", but getting Martian crystals is generally such a chore. And the daily quests aren't challenging. Just time-consuming when it's something like "win 5 impoppable". I've been thinking about quitting for a while now, but it's hard to let it go. I've been playing for 3 years (hit day 1000 a while back). My last goal, of sorts, was to get through this Firework Fun event, since it was my first event (a few weeks after I started playing).
Now that I've spelled all that out, I think I'll just go cold turkey. I literally just made that decision as I was writing this post. Then my first thought was that I would check in periodically to see if there was an event, but legendary orbs don't have much to offer me anymore, so nevermind.
Long post (that's kind of my thing
Thanks man
Thanks. Was looking for this too lol
