did they really take out the possibility of getting the extra finn, marceline and jake from martian games?
such a disapointment...nothing left to play for

I'm pretty sure that the rewards for an event (apart from the contents of the legendary orb) are the same for everyone, although I honestly don't know if that's just an assumption on my part, or based on something I read somewhere.

Just saw your other post. I believe I got the exact same rewards. I don't have them all memorized, but I know that the first 3 were the Party Time power, the Razor Bats dart, and 40 gems; and one of the others was the Military Dart (and, of course, Dragon Fangs at 25).

Me personally, I just gave up on the game when they made seasonal stuff along with a hefty price for characters on a single player game. I already completed the game and did several seasonal events. None were worth it due to RNG. Can't play any of the new maps due to needing characters that are near like 9.99$. Been a while since I last played and don't really have plans to come back. last review I left on this game i was level 84 and all levels (besides paywall levels) are all complete. I even remember when range trinkets where a % and not flat. God I miss that a bit. Besides from that, I have not done Martian Games once and knowing they might have removed the characters that are paid for it? Makes me not even wanna mention it at this point. If that is the case then only ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rainbow wish orbs are the way to get characters. Which are almost a season thing... Wish they made it so you could get a chance to get rainbow stuff from yellow because you can get yellow from rainbow. which is dumb. That has ruined so many of my seasonal events for me because knowing I need good RNG for a chance of character is not worth the effort anymore. Sorry for the ranting if it doesn't help but just thought to put my thoughts here as a level 84 person and crap.

They did not remove the extra characters from Martian Games. The shop just rotates every 2 weeks, so the characters aren't always there, but they will always come back.

Specifically, if the option to trade for 75,000 crystals is 100 cosmic essence, Holiday BMO, or Clarence, then the characters aren't there during that rotation. Those other trades are taking their place.

If the option is 200 Finn Cakes, 200 Red, or 200 Meatballs, it means you already own the associated character.

Also, the extra characters sometimes go on sale. I was able to get all three for $18.91 instead of the usual price of $9.99 for each one ($29.97 total) in 2021.

I just wanted to reiterate what Quest said. Hunter Marceline, Tuxedo Jake and Dungeon Finn are absolutely still included in the Martian Games shop. Dungeon Finn was just there, and now it's Hunter Marceline (I'm seeing 200 tomatoes, because I got her from that shop a while ago).

but it's still a single player game. i don't wanna pay 18.97 dollars and change or more on 3 characters when i could buy a whole game with more fun and less repeat stuff. Im not hating on it but when a free to play BTD and Adventure Time introduce stuff like that, that's where i bail. As for the Martian Games I can't say much. Never played it mostly because all it really is like compete vs people and i usually try to stay away from competitive stuff.

I get that. I've never been into pvp games. But you're just trying to clear more rounds than some other random people that are around the same player level as you. And it's not that unusual for me to go into a game and there are no other players at all, at that moment. That gives you a chance to take the throne (clear round 10) and earn some crystals, at least until someone else comes along and takes the throne (clears a higher round that you did).

But you don't have to take the throne to get crystals. You get crystals for beating round 10, and then every 5 (I think) rounds after that. You get a lot more crystals if you can take, and hold, the throne, but you can just play each Martian Game (every 2 days) and get as far as you can, and gradually build up crystals that way.
