Fatal error: Failed to load il2cpp
Getting this error all of a sudden (before any loading screen or anything opens).
I've tried verifying the cache and reinstalling and the game worked fine this morning.

Any idea on what I can do to get it to work again?

Mara. :azra:

Same problem here. I noticed there was some kind of an update before i tried to start the game. I've tried verifying integrity of the files restarting the computer, and reinstalling the game. Nothing seems to help.

they screwed up with the update, it happens with game at times, hopefully they'll put up another patch to resolve it

Got a email reply .... did not help me, but maybe give it a try ?

Restart your computer and launch Steam.
From the Library section,
right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.

Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button.

Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
