Legend of Keepers

Game seems far too easy.
Downloaded the Prologue and played through it. Always choose the hardest adventures I could and even then only 1 adventurer of the whole group made it to the boss one time. Even with not knowing what each weeks things did and wasting some weeks by clicking on things to figure out that I couldn't do it I still had 0 problems demolishing every group.

Thanks for the feedback.

We're aware of the difficulty being a bit too easy and are actively working on it. It should be already better in the Early Access version, but balancing is an on going process and a lot will still be changed to make the game more challenging. The only difficulty is to avoid going the other way around where it's too hard.

Keep in mind that some players find the game too hard right now. Some find it too easy. Finding something in between to please everyone is kind of a puzzle ^^

We hope you'll enjoy how it will evolve ;)

Have fun!

Thanks for the response. I will add I focused mainly on destroying their Morale so maybe look at changing how strong the morale reductions are? The catapult and horn were the only traps I used, I would only use the morale spell as well, which felt insanely strong in comparison to the other spells.

Pretty much my strategy was use room 1 of monsters to weaken up the enemies. Typically put my weaker monsters first. I would set up traps in a way so that when they hit my second room of monsters which were my good ones typically 1-2 turns from each monster in room 2 and they would all run away from morale loss. From hitting enemies some times it did feel like killing the enemy would have been much harder than just scaring them away.

Just did a run where I was actually trying to kill adventures and it was much harder. I made it 41 weeks and adventurers made it to my boss almost every time. I couldn't quite get enough of 1 type of monster to set up both rooms but I for a while I ran frost in the first room then fire in the second and later in the game ran bleeding/skeletons (Had the star minion that gave Skeletons enrage) and second room was still fire.

Is there any benefit for killing heroes as opposed to making them run away?

Gaining Blood instead of Tears.

Is blood more worthwhile than tears?

Nope they are both relevant. They are used for a few things like the training week to power up your boss, the collectors will take blood instead of boss health for money, can use both for the ritual or whatever it is called that give the longer buffs to monsters / debuffs to adventures, etc. Doesn't seem like 1 is better than the other.

Will we be able to play more than 2 years?

The devs answered that over here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/978520/discussions/0/1874000825165480191/#c1874000825165639672

The short answer is no, the career is only 2 years. However, it looks geared towards replayability, and you need to do well enough/ do certain things on a playthrough to unlock content for future plays.

I stopped playing Darkest Dungeon back at the day because it was too difficult. I know this is why most people liked it - but for me a game should be fun and relaxing after a long day at work. So I am buying Legend of Keeper BECAUSE it is not difficult. If they ever decide to change it the other way around - it would be a game breaker for me.

I won the first time with a lot of errors due to the discovery. It was fun but it ruined the usefulness of boss skills and replayability :(

Don't be afraid though, we're aware of this and will actively work on balancing the game in the upcoming weeks after gathering more feedback and datas.

For more durability it may be necessary to have a higher skill tree and the need to lose several times to seek new skills to go further in the adventure.
This is only my opinion but the game already has good potential for the price, I am going to test the second boss :)
(thx google trad :D)

I agree with OP - it's super easy despite not having perks and stuff early on. Why do we even unlock talents then? :o

It's not super easy, you just got lucky on adventurer composition

See you at level 10 x 3 heroes with front one having 100% armor and the other 2 chain healing/blocking penalties and morale loss
