Speaking of Diablo, that would be a pretty cool plot twist.... I wonder how that'll turn out end game when you reach him?
Diablo: "Now you die!"
Warrior: "Wait! I want to join you!"
Diablo: "Huh?!"
Warrior: "Yes, I have been through many floors of this dungeon and decided the best way to win this game is to join in the fun with the boss monster."
Diablo: "Whhhhaaaa......"
[credits roll]
Narrator: "In the end, the warrior that was sent to save tristram from its nightly terrors has succumbed to the darkness and serves the dark master for all of eternity...."
....
The game is kind of like a VN game where you're basically just reading a premade story, but you can affect what ending it leads to. That's as far as the scope of the game goes. You don't have to be a specific orientation to enjoy a bit of teenage love drama; there are entire TV networks based on that concept. Enjoy the story as you would a book.
