ADOFAI won't enter full screen mode on my 1080p monitor despite being set to 1080p in settings

I'm currently using my steam deck on desktop mode to play which a separate monitor. Everything in the game works except for it being incredibly small (taking up about 1/4 of my monitor) without any option to full screen. Anyone know how this can be fixed?
