hi, thanks for the report. This problem is rare and usually happens if there is another program that doesnt let the game use the sound. You can check solutions here:

"-Look for any sound enhancement programs, such as Nahimic 2, Realtek HD Audio Manager, or related. Shut down virtual surround, or (if all else fails) manually close all of their related manager tasks in task manager."

Could you let us know if you still have trouble? This method worked for someone who had the same problem yesterday.

Yeh, I shut down both Nahimic 2 and Realtek HD Audio Manager in task manager,and the game works fine now!

acutally i found the reason, its because i used two screen, both of them dont have sound when i set to one sceen,it has sound.

False alarm, sorry. It turns out the I have to close sonic suite (sound enhancement) twice in my task manager. I thought I've closed it already, but for some reason it pops out again. After closing it twice, the audio works fine now.

I'm on linux and when I switched to external monitor only the sound started to work. That's weird but it worked for me

I have linux ubuntu and have no sound, too. Already tried different compatibility systems (proton and linux runtime), however nothing works and I still have no sound. I have verified that the game is not muted in my audio configuration). If anyone has any ideas how to solve that, please tell me.

I had this issue, but it suddenly started working whenever I unplugged/replugged my headphone cord in. It seems like it just needed to get prompted with that input again for it to connect. It's a 100% repeatable solution for me.
I don't know if that would work if you're using computer or monitor speakers, though.
