For now, if you turn on Perfect Mode, it will colour the tile of any EPerfect or LPerfect so its clear when you don't get a pure perfect - so its easier if your'e really aiming for the highest possible score

Good point, might be useful...
I think it's a good choice to prevent EPerfect/LPerfect from standing out for starters. Will definitelly check out the perfect-only mode once I get through the main game.
For us picky players, maybe have an 'advanced' setting to color EPerfect/LPerfect yellow or something? Or just leave it only in the perfect mode - I really like how clean the design is in this game :)
