Game won't launch...

After installing it normally, the game does not start: I click on Play, the Stop button appears, then after 3 seconds, the Play button reappears, nothing started, in the task manager nothing happened... I had the same problem on some other games but older, it never happened to me on recent games. I need help, please !

Unfortunately no. I personally searched for two days, asked the developers, but it led to nothing, I ended up giving in and playing it on another pc

If you were able to play it on another PC, does that mean you don't get any error messages about "gamelib"?

Nop, the game is perfectly playable, while it is a simple standard desktop pc, I do not understand..

can't even play this game right now. It's a game that chooses people to play. Some people can play it, some people can't. And now I still can't play. If within 7-8 days I still can't play. I will definitely refund this game.

Same issue here. Been troubleshooting this since launch day. All suggested fixes implemented. Still having issue

I'm having these issues on a desktop windows 7 PC. My guess is that it's some program we have installed screwing things up.

For those who don't know, the unsolvable error seems to be for the people getting the message
"steam is offline. Exit now."
*Note, you'll only get that message when you try and play the game from the directory rather than steam.
So if you aren't getting that message, some of the other suggestions might work.

Try turning off steam cloud save and uninstall then reinstall the game??

Tried that too, nope, still doesn't work for me. :P I only get the "steam is offline, Exit Now." message when Steam is actually offline, not every time, but the behavior is otherwise the same.
