the game is freezing on me. during attacks it buffers and then it will lock up and I have to force quit to get out of the game. I've tried low settings and fullscreen and windowed and it doesn't help. I'm running macOS Mojave 10.14.6 if that helps you. Besides that the game is great and I love the sound design. Hope this can be fixed soon.

Everytime I play the sequence of the train (charon I think its called), witch is a long sequence with lots of dialog, it freezes at some point. The music and dialog keeps making sounds, and even the esc menu, but my screen is black. I have a computer that has all the minimun requrements and until this point I had no trouble playing, but I have attempted this sequence a few times facing the same problem and having to restart again.

Hi, could you try play with the render quality on "low" and see if this works for you.

For me the game doesn't launch. It lets me select "Play Eastward" or "Open GL" then proceeds to begin launching but never actually launches. The play button just resets to green PLAY instead.

Not sure if this was a one off bug or something, but I was in a cave within the Strange Forest where a bunch of slugs drop down from the ceiling. I got hit by one of their attacks and ran away but I continue to take damage even with no enemies around me.

I didn't see any negative status indicators like poison or anything and I even used a healing item to bring back 5 health but I continued to get hit by an invisible enemy til I died. I tried to repro the issue by taking a hit from both the electric slug and blue slug in the same area again after loading back into the game but nothing happened.

Just was a bit odd and is the first thing I've come across (other than Sam's body randomly disappearing and her head just floating forward. when you go to eat with Uva and the mayor.) xD

their is definitely 100% something wrong with the mouse sensitivity, it feels so weird, it slides across the screen instead of moving normally, which is really annoying when using the menus and causes miss-clicks

Hi. could you please try any of these solutions and let me know if any work:

- Completely shutting down Steam from the task manager and then relaunching (This has worked for a few people in the Discord)

- Steam>Settings>Downloads>Clear Downloads Cache + Restart Steam

- Eastward>Properties>Local Files>Verify Integrity

- Check if your anti virus software is blocking the game from launching

On my case, when I first arrived at Dam City and explore it, I noted that every shop or place is closed before I speak to wanted man that offer lab assistant job. But, I could enter King Crab that resulted me couldn't get out when exiting the place.

Hello, I am on Windows 8.1 with a GTX970 and game will not launch with normal or OpenGL launch, please help. OS and graphics drivers are fully up to date and I've tried reinstalling a few times.

Noticing this games runs really slow/laggy. Any reason or fixes for this? Ive set all my settings low and turn off a couple of graphic features (not ideal as I would like to have the game with best experience)

Tried full screen and windowed. Every combination...doesnt seem to run smooth.

Thank you for the recommendations, I followed all of these steps, as well as steps from a recent post in the community discussions recommending updating Microsoft Visual C++, which I did need to update, then rebooted my PC. With restart complete, I reopened steam and found a steamworks common redistributable download pending (not sure if this matters). This update completed and same issue is still occurring.

mac big sur 连接DELL 2715显示屏的时候，游戏无法启动。不用外接显示屏的时候可以正启动。麻烦修复一下吧，一直都是用大屏幕玩。

I have problems with fps. Game is constantly stuttering and Fps randomly drops from 60 to 40s. Sometime it freezes completely for a second or two.
Does anyone else have this problem or a potential fix?

My PC is 8700k, 3080, 32Gb RAM

I get a 'Missing Executable' file error when I attempt to run the game. If browse to the path where the file should be, I find no executable. I'm running Linux Mint 18.0
