The player ship is all manually targeted weapons, and I dont see that changing, but once you get to the point where you can get a Capital ship or 3, those "Now thanks to LGM patching it in from player feedback" have some weapons that are able to target all around.
Whether we see possible turrets for player main ship, I am doubtful and truly not really needed you can make it quite nimble and keep weapons on target quite easily with a few upgrades.
As I said; I'd want a few auto-turrets (even if they are weak) just for the sake of ''roleplaying'' purposes to make the game more fun, IMHO (for example; looking for the feeling of piloting a smaller ship such as the Millenium Falcon with it's 2 rotating turrets).
But I respect the developer's decisions, after all, it's their product.
PS! Can we use the capital ships that you mentioned during the campaign gameplay, or do they become available once the campaign/storyline is finished?
Thank you again for your time.
