Factions reputation
Can someone explain how this bar works? At first any bars left of middle where red indicating bad rep, but now some of those are blue on left.

That meany you're performed missions that pushed faction reputation in certain direction. For example, barman missions will send you to eliminate some ships, and these ships belog to some faction, that will not especially like the idea you're destroying them. It depends who you are taking missions from, and who you are attacking. Same goes for all ships you encounter flying around, or any encounter missions you pick up along the way

What is difference in blue and red then to left of middle?

Blue bar to the left means you're on improving terms with that faction, while red bar to the left means the opposite. If some faction goes too deep in red, they will become your enemies, will attack you on sight, and will deny you docking to stations owned by them. Beware that some factions aren't too spread out, so having them as enemies won't matter too much, but some factions are present everywhere and switching them to enemy stance will make the game much harder overall.

Thanks for explaining, I was trying to figure out what that meant. It would be nice to know what factik the mission is against before taking it on. Loving the game though as you guys do awesome space games :-)

Appreciate it. Hope you'll enjoy it even more after a couple more updates :)

Just figured out how to use multiple hard points by using two of same gun type. Much better with two cannons and two machine guns!!
mmihokovic  [developer] Nov 7, 2020 @ 12:01pm
Definitely :) . Number of available hardpoints depend on wing module you have attached to your ship. It varies from 3 up to 7.
There are more details on usage of weapon systems here, if you need them:

Cool, thanks for the link buddy :-)

If I fill all five hard points, I assume it will deplete the energy reserves faster than say only using 2 weapons.
mmihokovic  [developer] Nov 7, 2020 @ 12:24pm
It will, yes. balance is important. And bigger weapon battery module :) . But, yeah, if you stack up many weapons with high energy consumption, it will take a toll on energy supply. To a degree it can be supplemented by larger battery (or battery with faster recharge) and skills and energy replenishment quick items. Or simply make more careful aim when firing...

Thanks for all your help, now I gotta try that borehole torpedo. That v idea was very helpful. I do see a need to allow you you load a number of weapons so you don't have to sell them. They way if I want 3 now and 5 later you can. Would be nice to have! Appreciate all the Hard work and love that you guys are always active and so helpful. That is why I buy your gsmes on early access. You always deliver your games and then make them better!!

hey there... so how to improve reputation with factions that are red? :hfsurvivor:
mmihokovic  [developer] Nov 8, 2020 @ 4:10am
You should do missions for other factions, or go to sector where faction red to you is very common and observe who they are fighting with, then destroy them as a "service". Note that reputation works differently for inherently "bad guys", such as Templars. They will be very hard to turn to your side

Thanks! :-)
