capital ships?

Where are the capital ships? I was waiting for this update since October 14, so where are they ?, I did not find shipyards in the free game, on planets, stations and military stations the same way, I bought the game only because one of the developers wrote to me that capital ships will be, and where are they?

They are in the campaign mode, after you complete it.

Depending on the mode you're playing. In campaign mode, special map called Horizon, with automated shipyard will be opened once you finish the last story mission. Jumping there via Jump Drive will give you options to acquire and refit a capital ship of your choice. In freeroam mode, you'll get the same access as soon as you reach level 20 and acquire enough credits to get a capital ship. Horizon is a secluded small map without Starpoint, and since it isn't in any of the main systems, jumping in and out with Jump Drive is the only way to reach it. Once you have capital ship, it always has this jump drive too so you can jump from Horizon to any system without using Starpoints...

Is it so intentional that the hold of a ship and that of the capital ship count as one? My ship has 900 and the freighter has 2000. Accordingly, I can take 2900 of freight with the small ship. So I have a total of 2900. Personally, of course, it doesn't bother me: P

i just finished the campaign. how do i use tthe jumpdrive?

Open Starchart, go to system map (zoomed out level), and directly jump to new Horizon location that should have appeared to the right side (default "R", but check your bindings). It will perform jump like you're at Starpoint...

for some odd reason i canr jump into capship even if i select it

Make sure you are in space, go to the "capital ship" menu then press F.

My option to jump to Horizon is greyed out. I just finished the campaign. Credits rolled and everything. I can see horizon on my map. But I do not appear to have access to the jump drive

Nevermind. docking with a station and undocking fixed the issue!
