So you're telling me a game with a SINGLE PLAYER MODE can't continue being played once you lose access to its bloody servers? What kind of SP was that to begin with?!?

It sucks how many singleplayer games require being online to function properly or even at all. I like what they did for Marvel's Avengers where they removed all the microtransactions and made all the content available through gameplay. It's the only game I can recall that was modified like that though, unfortunately.

it is pretty sad. even more so that there was no anticipation for long after servers died. not even an option for hosting privately.

Single Player jjust means playing by ioneself without interaction or influence from other players. That is all. If the game is server based then yeah

Then it was false advertising all along. Calling what you have just described as "single player" is a travesty!

Absolute ♥♥♥♥ move, at least release the server software so someone can set his server. Half cooked code with online DRM is killing this industry

I'm sorry. Are you telling us that you have kept this information for about 2 years and still kept the game on the store? Shouldn't that count as a scam? The game never reached the goal and even when you want to play singleplayer it requires internet connection. I don't know who to blame here, if the devs dissolved then either them or the publisher should immediately disclose that info and tell us what are the plans.

I wonder if there is any chance for private servers? I like that the game is built for 3 players while it is buggy its still enjoyable with my friends.
