I got exactly that. "fatal error" every time I try to load the game

A lot of people say that problem with "fatal error" is because of mods, maybe for some people, but I bought MCC two days prior this update - everything worked fine. No mods before or after update

I opened the link you sent and there is nothing. But the game still crashed.

The game is broken since the last update, I don't use mods and I don't play online, the game downloads files forever and doesn't start.. The solution of recording on drive C is absurd, many people like me use low capacity SSD and record games on other drives, when will this be resolved??

9 years in and we can't get a Veto system. No decent hit reg. No fix for explosives disappearing. No fix for game crashes resulting in bans. Thank ♥♥♥♥ your studio has been separated from Halo. Oh, and the 3 new maps are absolute dog. Do better.

This update was made by a team of modders in their spare time. Be more gentle with the community that does this for us for free or be quiet.

Any chance we'll see the monitor switching issue solved? Never ever have I seen a game consistently open on the wrong monitor every time I launch it. I have my primary monitor set as such in Windows, and even MCC acknowledges this, and I switch it back every time I launch the game.

Veto was removed by choice and hasn't been in Halo since 3, lmao. Even then, a voting system spanning multiple games and multiple game types and etc would be painful to implement and frankly not worth it. Hit reg is fine in MCC, same can't be said for Infinite but it's probably a user issue and not the game's fault. Game crashes have always resulted in bans for games that ban due to quitting, it's not unique to Halo and you're a fool for implying as much. 343 is still developing Halo and nothing has indicated otherwise, unless you're following smooth-brains like Hailey or Evolved on Twitter who constantly pull information out of their asses. And the 3 "new" maps 1. weren't even made by 343, they were made by the team that made the Russian free-to-play title Halo Online, and 2. were added due to popular fan request. If your life is so boring you spend it being toxic on Halo Steam discussions, I weep for those around you that have to pretend to like you because they pity you.

It seems that my issue was a whole new bug cause a patch just downloaded now and bam, MCC works again.

Is a 1 GB update. If you see the word next to "42gb" you will see that it says "Patching". The fact that you are patching so few GB means that you only installed a few games from the collection. For us who have the entire collection in our HardDrive we had to wait hours for it to patch this update on over a hundred gigs lol

Why wouldn't you be able to? Don't think exFAT was ever slated for deprecation considering it's part of some SD card standard or something
