The Store page says the collection is priced at AUD $12.48.
But it has the individual games listed as well, including Halo CE Anniversary for AUD $2.86.
This implies to me that I can buy Halo CE for $2.86.
But it tells me I need the Base game. Which is $12.48.
So, which is it? Is Halo CE actually available separately for $2.86? Or do I need to buy everything for $12.48?
Thanks for any help.
Excellent!
Thank you.
When you open the store page for any individual game in the MCC you are met with the disclaimer:
“This content requires the base game Halo: The Master Chief Collection on Steam in order to play.”
Which then leads people to go searching for the ‘base game’ (which is not listed in the store). The fact that people have to keep answering this question time and time again is in contrary to your opinion that it’s not “all that confusing”. Clearly it confuses people.
That disclaimer banner should have been removed a long time ago.
It's not really that deep.
So I guess it can technically always go lower. But that's something that can only happen with physical media, as right now is very rare for a game to lower their price more than once even if a decade has passed since it came out.
