Same could be said about the Scorpion and Wraith
How come Scorpion is way better in gameplay terms
For example compare the Scorpion and the Wraith, which one would you use and why?
A lot of Covenant weapons being projectile based is one of the reasons...
Especially in PVP. Its honestly a good weapon in Invasion.
But i hate that its trying to replace the plasma rifle.
And i hate that the storm rifle in halo 4 actually did replace it.
I don't mean anything crazy either like taking out DMR starts but I think the automatic weapons could use some love. Maybe the Needle Rifle doesn't need to take more shots to kill than the DMR when Invasion is technically a competitive mode....etc. Things like that could only serve to help the game
As for the wraith, well the covenant can probably mass produce those things in much larger quantities than the UNSC can for the Scorpion.
Bungie nerfed the assault rifle in Reach making the only viable method of using it the (shoot -> melee) combo
The same can be said about the repeater.
In a face to face brawl, yes you are absolutely correct in saying that the scorpion is better, but if you are trying to play the wraith the same way you play the scorpion, you are DOING IT WRONG. The wrath is not so much a tank as it is mobile artillery, and it needs to be used as mobile artillery, otherwise it will just get wrecked. In otherwords hide behind cover and lob shots over it. You might get called a little b***h for it, but that's how it's meant to be played.
