online spectator of course is much better
moreover if they can add a replay match download board is super good
The new Samurai Shodown game is using some new "neural network" A.I.[www.gamerevolution.com], that learns from players' gameplay styles. If this ends up working better than, say, Killer Instinct's similar claim of "smart A.I.", it could change the versus-CPU battles into something worth more doing beyond the content grind...
It's an idea he has..
I even doubt if MK11 will have any offline options at all,..
Not much of a point there if so.
If a fighting game does not have a fully functional, offline versus component, it's literally an incomplete product. It's like those co-op centric games that lack any way to play either local or LAN functionality -- half-baked games with finite life span. An even better analogy would be a sports game, like FIFA, sans the ability to play local versus mode... Just ridiculous. 😒
I got screwed with Injustice 2, in this respect -- because I did not check for this erstwhile obvious, standard functionality's presence before I played for 2 hours; never imagining that a key selling point of IJ2 (its "load-outs") were nothing but a gimmick that could only be [not] used in an online ghost town or against CPU dumbots... 😡
I will NOT be fooled again. ⚠
