Kabal not happy when doing fatalities on a women?

Not sure if this intentional or not, but you can see below while killing men he smiles wide, but when killing women he has a glowering, somber expression.
Yet given the fact that they’re employing double standards with the attire for the men and women in Mortal Kombat 11 by covering up the women and dressing down the men, it wouldn’t be surprising if this was intentional.

He has costumes that have him as his burnt ugly af self wearing the mask and costumes that show him like the above. Probably as a before and after thing due to the time bending shenanigans of the story.

If it's true then maybe they want to make Kabal has more personality, maybe he is "Soft" on woman ?
Facial expression, action, voice line change during a move or gameplay depends on the characters it interacts with isn't new at all.
They did it many times in the past with the example I remember the most was in Naruto Ninja Storm 3.

In Naruto Ninja Storm 3, if you use Karin's skill on Sasuke she will trigger an special interaction which will show Karin run toward Sasuke and shy after she slaps Sasuke.

With other characters, Karin just slaps them and the game continues.

That's your subjective conjecture over a picture though. It's not the gospel truth.

At face value all it shows is Kabal grimacing when performing a fatality on two male characters and not grimacing when performing a fatality on two female characters. That's it. It's the juxtaposition of people with certain agendas and social beliefs inserting these into a picture that barely tells anything that's the issue.

As a rational and logical person I would want more evidence or a direct response from NRS on the matter before I form a concrete conclusion about this.
