How about this, it's safe to safe that if you could do that with the tusk in the ascii version then you will be able to do it in this version when it's finished. All they're doing is a graphical overhaul.

Also, if you're saying Cobbler's response was good, and they told me I had a good point, why do you believe I do not? Cobbles said if it were possible in the pre-Steam version, it would still be possible in the Steam version. I said PVersusNP might not know whether it was possible in the pre-Steam version either. I'm not a huge fan of having the graphics to begin with, but I can't deny that the kobolds and goblins look pretty great!

IIRC they've got a "classic" mode - either implemented already or planned. You'd just get the UI with classic ASCII graphics (god knows why people want that).

True, mostly just for moddability/familiarity/imagination purposes in my case. I'll likely play with graphics for the most part otherwise, but at this point I am impatient for Adventure Mode to return. It'll be good to have control in the arena back, if they wanna push that early to work on the other stuff longer.

People knew what this game was gonna be about when they bought it. Whether it was the the steam or original version first. Only the kids are being impatient on the speed it's being developed. If they want adventure mode they should just play the ASCII version.
