Dwarf Fortress

Dwarves keep getting injured yet they aren't injured.
I have gotten several notifications that I have an injured dwarf and need a hospital, and I set one up. But when I checked the dwarf who was going to the hospital for his "injury" he has none. None of them do. Any dwarf marked as injured has no injury or health problems. One did have a problem with his lungs but otherwise was fine.

Most stuff in the health menu only show up properly after being diagnosed by a doctor (does all hospital jobs in one entry) or diagnostician asigned to the hospital.
They need to lay down on a bed in the hospital before it heals up naturally as well to get checked.

Major injuries can appear in other tabs (missing limbs for example) but minor ones can end up being nearly invisible in the dwarf's interface until diagnosed.

As soon as they are diagnosed it says nothing is wrong and they just go back to work as normal. I do have a very good doctor from immigrants so I feel like I shouldn't be missing something.

Then maybe the injury was from far enough in the past that it already healed.
I always setup my hospital early on or when there are some severe injuries after a fight so I have not encountered what you describe, sorry.

No worries! That still helps a little. Thank you!

i FIGURED IT OUT! And its insanely funny and stupid! My dwarves were making ale from Mandrake Root! Thus giving themselves mandrake poisoning in the lungs everytime they drank it!

Someone should tell them that lungs should not be involved in drinking.

Well, mandrakes sound like a modded plant so it's not certain that this was meant to be how it works.

But yeah, brewing or cooking poisonous ingredients can be fun in a very dwarf fortress way.
