[Adventure Mode] Civilization

So, I was running and solving problems that bothers my empire (group) I wanted to be hearthperson of a castle's baron, however he gave me 2 different giants to kill, I went out and took out all of them returned to him and spreaded the rumors, still he says I'm sorry there is not room for you or something.

How can I get past this?
