How to eject unwanted guest?
So, I have a stupidly powerful visitor snooping around for information in my tavern. I know for a fact that he is going to go absolutely gorilla feces in short order and massacre basically my entire settlement, including all animals both domestic and wild. I can eject my own dwarves, but I it's not an option for visitors for some reason (guys, I love the game, but fake difficulty is fake difficulty)? Is this save seriously doomed because of Lobo here, or is there something I can do to get rid of the creep?

well, you could get all your dwarves out of the area he's in, then wall him in. Problem solved.

close doors of tavern build walls behind them flood tavern with waterpumps. You can also build a cagetrap at one side if he realy goes berserk.

Thanks, guys. I tried the first idea, but he was very uncooperative about staying put for the masons. Then I tried something that I really did not expect to work: I just deleted the tavern. Surprisingly, he opted to take a hike. Fight cheese with cheese, I guess. I think I'll be building my next tavern outside the main fortress, and with future trouble in mind.

Or, in the alternative,

Simply set all your meetings zones to no longer accept visitors. Citizens and Long-Term residents only.

Either they will apply for long-term citizenship (in which case congratulations on your new Superweapon), or they will pack up their ♥♥♥♥ and leave. If they do not leave IMMEDIATELY, what you can do is set up a new meeting zone that accepts visitors somewhere up on the surface. Your small problem should migrate to that zone once you redesignate the others to not accept visitors. Once they are there, switch THAT one to no longer accept visitors, and they should mill around for a while - a season or two at most - before leaving.

Check your open/cold cases in the Justice menu and interrogate the guest for one of them. Guests who are interrogated immediately pack up and leave once the discussion is over, at least they do in my fort. If you have no available cases -- or no justice in general -- then try one of the ideas above.

Setting the tavern to citizens only will evict all guests that came due to the presence of the tavern. The same works for temples and libraries.
