The best weapons for fighting the undead are Maces (NOT warhammers, although warhammers are also suitable). This lets you kill and mangle the undead and all of their body parts without breaking them up into multiple pieces. Necromancers cannot reanimated mangled corpses, so once you have hammered a zombie into the ground it (usually) will not come back.
Necromancers themselves are also susceptible to blunt force trauma. The only issue with them is that they may potentially be exceptionally skilled combatants, further boosted by the stat bonuses from being undead/a Necromancer generally. A single armed and armored Necromancer may be a match for a full squad of Dwarves, because they never tire, feel no pain, cannot be stunned, and do not mind if you destroy their organs while fighting.
However, generally speaking most Necromancers are unarmed/unarmored, so if you can bum-rush them with your squad then it boils down to how long they can hold out being bludgeoned until they finally die for good.
