Did you release them from those orders by cancelling them? (The "null" button in the Military Squads menu - Toggle the Squad, click the "nullset" symbol. Don't click the "x." :))
Dorf that are injured and can't move, won't move... So, check each to be sure they can walk. Lift the Burrow orders, if you have them on your pop, and if the Dorfs don't get immediately rescued, create a new "Medic" class in Labor (or whatever you wish to call it) and assign that role Rescuing, sutures, cleaning wounds and then the last two categories of general stuffs, so they have something else to do. You can click "Everyone Does This" to speed things up, but make sure to isolate it later so those dorfs start gaining some skill in their hospital duties. Toggle some dorfs for it and that should do it. (I couldn't get any Dorfs "Rescued" until I did that and I don't know why "Orderlies" or just random dorfs aren't doing it. It may not be assigned to anything.)
I was building a wall around my compound when a lot of the builders got into some sort of conflict. Now several dozen of my dwarfs are standing around on the surface feeling vengeful, repeatedly. Some of them are starting to get thirsty and hungry and will die soon if they dont move. They all refuse to take jobs or move and stand there with more and more vengeful thoughts in their heads.
I've had a sleep and thought about what to do. First, I'm going to try and reload, see if that works. If not, second, I'll roll back the save, hopefully that'll be before the incident. And third and final nuclear option, retire the fort for a few weeks and then reclaim. What's the worse those dwarfs can get up to in two weeks without my oversight?
Lets see if any of those work.
The ducks a pet so i cant butcher it, even if i thought anyone could get near it. How to kill a duck.....
Annoying grazers are easier, you just starve them.
I ended up eventually having a single tile with at most 10 dwarves stacked on top one another stuck with the "No Job" task, and they would starve or get thristy, and risk death by them all standing there. I posted a screenshot of that in the Bug Report section on their Discord. The thing is I don't know if that bug is unique to version 0.50+
Urists herp !
I had a playthrough recently where I aggroed the whole continent of Aggravated creatures, it was painful. I had to have 12 crossbow squads on patrol up top just to pick up a log. I don't recommend, but they were able to shoot quite high. So my suggestion is, well, are there a lot of trees about? They block LOS, well. parts of them do. There's not a solution there because you won't be able to either Build stairs or cut trees if there's an aggroed creature. And you can't shoot a ballista at it unless you build somewhere else all the way up to 70 then shoot across. It's a pain, that might be a playthrough breaker right there.
