♥♥♥♥ birds though, seriously. I can only recommend a marksdwarf guard tower to try and eliminate flying pests because they are wholly infuriating.
I think it got started by three kids terrorizing a Yak cow, since they're "kids" and they're little chaos spawn.... There were five Yak males out there, right beside her.
I sent the Attitude Adjuster Squad out to settle things, but the Hunter aggro'd or started hunting the other Yaks soon after.
Meanwhile, back at the Fortress, I was busy clicking rocks to mine...
Next thing i know, there's a slew of desperate messages in the que. I ignored it, because of course I did. "It's just the Hunter spamming his battle, meh," said I.
While staring at the exciting action of rock bashing in the lower levels, I clicked on the message spam and saw a bloodbath happening. I cruised the view to the top level and it was covered in blood... Yaks were battling Dorfs in the doorway to the full Hospital. ..Guess someone messed with the wrong Yak.
Yaks are serious business.
Try chained war dogs, spread it bit around. I have a war dog the killed 12 ravens solo bevor he died ^^
Well, that would be them claiming it, putting it in their bedroom and it then going rotten. A lot of food will rot after a while (maybe all? Don't remember) unless it's actively being kept in a food stockpile. Not super helpful though.
I'm also sure that Trolls used to be able to break bridges, if they could get to 1 tile below them.
