As far as I remember a hungry vamp is just gonna gradually decrease in speed but it's not like she's gonna teleport through walls.
She'll love it and you'll get ALL your levers pulled instantly, without any dead dorfs appearing :)
If you draw water from a pool or an enclosed body of water I think you can pollute it with vampire blood and everyone will turn eventually, although this is something I've read on the forum ages ago and might not be up to date.
Uh. I will try to set up a magma kiln/glass for her with some levers nearby. Hope it'll keep her happy enough. I don't think I'll be able to figure out how to infect others, having two vamp barkeeps force feeding each other drinks in a walled off tavern would've been a good solution though.
1) Make an empty well.
2) Put spikes connected to lever in there, use them to make vampire bleed.
3) Add water.
I believe dwarves prefer booze over water, so forbidding all your alcohol should make them drink from well.
Maybe a bit offtopic, but if you capture humanoid monster (cyclop, minotaur, ettin, etc.), you can turn them into vampire or werebeast (50/50 chance) if you make them attack statue in your temple. Since vampires have pretty high boost to stats among other adventages, you can make pretty strong monster to use against enemies this way.
