Naked Elf Child

So I have a naked elf child running around my fort and he's really sad and upset that he is naked. I've been making all sorts of clothes, leather, etc but he never puts them on. Any ideas on how to fix this child because I have a feeling he's going to lose his s**t if his clothing problem doesn't get addressed. He's been running around angry for a while now.

Elves wear large variants of clothing. I can't remember how to make exotic clothing.

Dig a pit and throw them down there, and then build floor over it to block any miasma that may or may not occur

Go kill some elfses, take their ratty elf clothes, and give them to the little bugger... :)

(Racial Clothing has different sizes. So, for example, your Dwarves can't wear Elvish clothing. And, that little elf child can't wear yours. I don't know how to craft exotic/racial clothing, but I do recall that there are ways to do it, maybe... Your best bet is to hope a Trader comes along or you can ask a suitable one to bring you some of their clothing. OR... you antagonize the elves enough for them to send you a raid to supply your kid with clothes. :))

When you add a task to make a piece of clothing, you should see a little magnifying glass icon next to the task (in the workshop menu, or in the work order menu). If you click that magnifying glass, you can specify the material and size.

go to leatherworks or clothier and do a single production of whatever dress or socks you desire. Hit the magnifying glass icon on the task and specify the size and input elves into the search bar then select your option.

Thats not true, Dwarfs, Goblins and Elves can wear the same Size. Just Human Clothes needs to be larger
