Assign Inn room to a Tavern location?

When I goto assign, it only lists dwarfs...

i was going to do this, it isnt just making it part of that same Tavern?
If you look into the menu it says' x cups x beds x chair x tables ' Right?

yeah, but you can't click + and add inn rooms.. the wiki says to assign the bedroom to the tavern location. Maybe this is impossible in the Steam version?

You just build bedrooms like normal and click the little + icon and make them part of the tavern. That's it.

I've done it this way and I don't think I've ever seen a guest use these rooms.

did it this way they were listed in inn but the person sleeping in it.... dwarf >.<

Perhaps they don't want to stay at your fort? I've seen one tavern link the tavern area as the corridor to the rooms. I've only made my first tavern ever and I rarely get any visitors. As far as I know only outsiders use the inn to sleep in.

Yeah, I thought I did it wrong, but it listed it as having rooms available in the tavern but none rented. Last time I checked there was a badger man staying in one, so maybe it takes time, or the rooms rented are only available for new arrivals and not currently existing?

I did the same but my dwarves just moved into them. Inn doesn't seem to use them at all.

Can confirm, even when you have ♥♥♥♥ tons of nice spare normal rooms for your dwarves, they ignore them and instead go for the rentable inn rooms, making visiters complain about having to sleep on the ground. Fun
