WereKangaroo comes, kill a few dwarfs, injures a few, runs off. Injured dwarfs die and become werekangaroos, killing and injuring more dwarfs. Good times.

Always look at all the combat logs after a werebeast attack and wall in all bitten dwarves.
Or if you don't want to look at the logs/already right clicked them, you put them all in separate walled places before the full moon and only free those who don't transform.
