[Adventure Mode suggestion] Paying/commissioning weapon/armorsmiths.
I'm not sure if Toady has thought of this, but either way, I'm gonna put my suggestion here. In Adventure Mode, an issue that's often encountered (especially with animal people) is that armor is extremely hard to come by or impossible.
Something that would make sense would be the ability to commission and pay a weaponsmith or armorsmith to forge a brand new item for you. It would function similarly to how it works in fortress mode, the quality of the item would depend on the smith's level. Upon selecting a dialogue option for services they provide, a UI box would pop up (similar to the workshop box from Fortress Mode combined with a trade screen) and you'd be able to select what item you want made with prices varying for metals and potential quality level, then some time will need to pass before the smith completes the item. (Maybe in-game 2 hours per item?)

Currently the best way of getting armor (besides starting a fortress and making gear that way before hand) is the get free loot just laying around in a pile at fortresses and human lord houses and that's just for humans and dwarves. My suggestion would allow any race and animal person adventurers to obtain armor and weapons without scrounging free stuff on the ground, buying low quality stuff from trade depots or looting dinked up armor from felled enemies. Let me know what y'all think! :craftsdwarf: :urist:
