Can't scroll in military menu

Some of my dwarves are chronically pissy (big surprise), so I thought I'd make a new squad for them so I can distract them with training or order them to their deaths. I have five squads already, so I can't edit a new one without scrolling down. But the scroll bar on the military menu doesn't work. It reacts when I click it - the little red jewels on either end turn blue - but it won't move. What gives? Is there any way around this so I can edit new squads?

I'm playing on a Steam Deck, on the latest version, as in, I updated the game this morning. But the scroll bar's been broken longer than that.

Do you mean a button on my Steam Deck or in the menu?

In the menu, scrolling up when I click on the scroll-up UI might be working, but I can't tell because I'm at the top of the menu, so scrolling doesn't do anything anyway.

If it helps, I'm only having this problem in the military menu. All other scroll bars are working.

That menu only works properly with the mouse wheel for me. The scrollbar only goes up otherwise, clicking on the down button doesn't work.

You can try going to the settings and adding a keybinding for "mouse-context scrollbar" options, that somewhat works.

Just reporting back to say that binding "scroll up" and "scroll down" to L4 and L5 fixed the problem!
