Ugh... I can't stand the new UI... Well, thank you anyway! If a mod to bring back the old UI comes out, please do notify me!
:(
Yeak, I know, but it's an old version, so it doesn't make sense to go for it just because the UI. I'm trying my best to learn the new UI. It's OK when you get into it, but it's a shame they didn't develop the game with the old UI seperately. The game screen really feels cluttered now.
Also, the tutorial is broken in the new version. It literally breaks at the start when you try to zoom in and zoom out, you can do the one, but can't do the second, so you have to skip ahead. Bloody thing confused me more than that multiple episodes long tutorial of Nookrium haha
I can definitelly feel the pain of the old fans crying about the old UI. The old one was so simple. Yeah, it was rustic and looked like an options menu for a roguelike game, but I think that was the point, since the brothers are roguelike fans and Dwarf Fortress is also a roguelike.
