Ah, so if I create the work order using the aggregated work order UI they will still work. But if I go through a workshop's UI, they won't work after moving the shop. Thanks!
There is no such thing as moving a workshop.
Global work orders distribute the tasks among all workshops of the same type that can accept the work order (you can limit how many global work order a specific workshop can receive, down to 0 if you want).
So if you want a specific workshop to handle a specific work order, you create it through that workshop's work order tab, if you want any/all workshops of that type to work on the task you create the work order from the work orders menu instead.
