There's a lovely tavern for visitors above it, with a fresh-air scenic view (and occasional !FUN!clouds) for my doctors to malpractice on help the victims from.
Unplayable? 50000 years, took about three hours to gen. Sadly, can't save in fortress mode, takes long enough for Winblows to think the process crashed and do crash it. Tried upping the tolerance, still didn't work - I guess there's a lot of compression happening pre-saving.
Yeah I was referring to playable worlds, like what's the longest you played in and developed one world?
Ever since I started playing DF I got about 20+ years in one setting.
Was working on a megaproject thingy, never did finish that. One of the version updates finally nuked the save :(
Nowadays I mostly go for some quick self-made objective, or get to a stable fortress of ~100 and decide to try something different in terms of embark details.
