Question about goblin Thiefs

This is just a general inquiry into why Goblins steal the children, and if anyone knows why?

I'd rather have it PG too xD

I would assume they kill them and make crafts out of their bones. They could also possible be using them for labor such as mining and farming.

well i can think of one logical reason and lets just say goblins need to eat too. which would certainly explain why their hostile to you at the start of a new world.

It's usually to enslave them or because of reproductive issues ;)
In this game the enslaved/indoctrinated dwarven babies can come back as members of the goblin army during a siege. Perhaps you should try a long game where you make sure the first goblin thieves can snatch one of your ankle biters safely.

Yeah I've had so many of them come recently, but I've managed to catch them or kill them before they take thy kiddies. The food and labor make alot of sense, they do seem pretty evil.

Gobbos don't need to eat, they use them for labour and raise them as a member of the goblin civilization

they dont need to eat per say but can and if their as evil as the wiki claims then it wouldnt be far fetched to say they eat dwarf children as a comfort food in the same way dwarves depend on alcohol. speaking of also just wanna point out the inconsistency in that their not immortal they have eternal youth a truly immortal being would literally not die to anything.

They do eat for fun, my goblin thief prisoner is "frustrated after a lack of decent meals for too long"

They don't need to eat or drink (to survive), and they don't die from old age. The latter's why you never get goblin necromancers, same for elves
